Technical Data

Vintage: 2021

Production: 1.142 bottles

Varieties: Carinyena and Malvasia

Winemaking: Harvest by hand. Cooling for 12 hours, selection of the grapes, maceration of the two varieties together for 15 days. Spontaneous fermentation, without sinking the cap, not only pumped over. Bleeding, no press is used. In amphora for 5 months and then in bottle.

Winemaker’s note: A very special elaboration, we value the terroir. Two varieties planted in the same soil. Touched by the same soil and cultivated equally. Simply a joint vinification that was obvious that we had to do. We are dazzled by the subtlety and delicacy of how it turned out. I don’t think we can do it every year.

Age of the vineyards: 18 years on average

Planting frame: 1,5m x 2,6m

Type of soil: Red loams and limestone very predominant.
(28% aggregate, 50% silt, 22% sand) 1.3 of organic matter. Deep soil in certain areas.

Driving system: Doble Royat

Situation: Manresa

Altitude: 233 metres

Orientation: North – South

Treatments: Organic production, 4th year of regenerative viticulture. Planting of Legumes (times, herbs and peas), Cruciferous (White mustard) and Poacias (Avada and Barley), in alternate rows. Little fermented com- pound, low C/N ratio. We want to provide organic matter and nitrogen in an easy way for the plant.
