We are the children of wine country
Oller del Mas is part of the Pla de Bages Designation of Origin, an enchanted area surrounded by mountains like Montserrat, or the Sant Llorenç de Munt i l’Obac Natural Park.
The Pla de Bages wine tradition has existed for as long as recorded history. In fact, some historians claim that the name Bages comes from the Latin Bacus, god of wine.
It is currently one of most up-and-coming D.O.s. It benefits from the local grape varieties and the consistent climate, with low rainfall and the clay loam and chalky soil. This allows for excellent wines to be produced, imbued with balsamic notes of lavender and thyme, two aromatic plants that are abundant in the forests that surround the vineyards.
