The Merlets
Merlets is a wine of very limited production and monovarietal of sumo. Looking for the minimum intervention, we make a wine with an aging on its lees of 6 months and a minimum of 6 months in bottle. Low in alcohol, it is a delicate, soft wine with an acidity that gives it a long structure and aftertaste.
ENOLOGIST’S NOTE
A complex wine where the red picapoll variety expresses all its essence, typicality and authenticity.
On the nose, the delicate, subtle notes of red fruit combine with the spicy, floral touches of aging in French oak barrels.
On the palate, we find a delicate wine with structure, marked by a balanced acidity, with a long and friendly finish.
The harmony it shows and the long travel in the mouth bring exceptional elegance.
In short, an exclusive wine that expresses the “terroir”, the climate and the nobility of our estate in the Pla de Bages.
